Job Description

We are seeking a vibrant and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team in Munich. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about fashion, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and comfortable working primarily in English within a diverse retail environment. You will be instrumental in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, contributing to sales goals, and maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with product inquiries, primarily in English, offering styling advice and product knowledge.
• Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, fitting rooms, and stock areas.
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor and assist with new deliveries and inventory management.
• Actively contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Handle customer returns and exchanges professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive work environment.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mathematical skills and comfort using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
• A keen interest in fashion and current trends.
• Additional language skills (e.g., German, Spanish, French) are a plus but not required.
