Job Description
Are you passionate about building innovative software solutions that impact millions of customers globally? As a Summer Software Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging, real-world projects that contribute directly to Amazon’s products and services. This is a 100% remote internship, allowing you to collaborate with teams across the globe from the comfort of your home office. You will gain hands-on experience in software development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment, all while being mentored by experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for Amazon's various platforms and services.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to understand project requirements and contribute to technical discussions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in relevant programming languages.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in software development.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or mobile development (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge of distributed systems or large-scale applications.
- Contributions to open-source projects or significant personal projects.
