Job Description

Accenture is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Content Moderators to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content across various platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and terms of service. This is a crucial position that helps maintain a safe and positive online environment for millions of users. You will work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, making quick and accurate decisions based on complex policies. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, video, audio) based on established guidelines and policies.
  • Identify and escalate content that violates safety, hate speech, misinformation, or other sensitive policies.
  • Make consistent, accurate, and swift decisions on large volumes of content.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of evolving content policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team leads and quality assurance to ensure consistency and improve moderation practices.
  • Document moderation decisions and provide feedback for policy improvements.
  • Handle sensitive and graphic content responsibly and with resilience.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply complex guidelines consistently.
  • Comfortable working with sensitive and potentially disturbing content.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online community guidelines.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with ticketing systems or content review tools.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (highly valued for global projects).
