Job Description

Join the Amazon Logistics team as a Warehouse Order Assembler in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our fulfillment center operations, responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling customer orders. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet daily production goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
  • Receive, store, and distribute products within the warehouse, ensuring proper inventory management.
  • Perform quality checks on products and report any discrepancies or damaged items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and operational goals.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation as needed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) or willingness to be trained.

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
