Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Logistics Assistant to join our dynamic supply chain team in Garland, TX. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the tracking and monitoring of shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other logistics data using our internal systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, carriers, and suppliers to ensure efficient movement of goods.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Respond to inquiries and provide updates on shipment statuses to internal stakeholders.
- Help identify and resolve issues related to logistics, such as delays, damages, or missing items.
- Support the optimization of logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the logistics department.
