Job Description

Are you a highly skilled and safety-conscious Plumber with advanced experience in gas appliance and line work? Roto-Rooter in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated and certified Plumber to join our dynamic team. This role requires exceptional expertise in all aspects of plumbing, with a particular focus on the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems. While ‘Gas Safe Registered’ is a UK-specific certification, for this role in the United States, we are looking for candidates who possess equivalent advanced certifications and extensive experience with natural gas and propane systems, adhering strictly to all local, state, and national safety codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions.
• Perform safe and compliant installation, repair, and maintenance of natural gas and propane lines and appliances (e.g., water heaters, furnaces, stoves).
• Conduct thorough safety checks and pressure tests on gas systems according to industry standards and local codes.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to clients.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, building codes, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency services as required.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Plumber, with specific expertise in gas line and appliance work.
• Valid plumbing license in Arizona.
• Relevant certifications for gas line installation and repair (e.g., Master Plumber, specific gas fitter certifications).
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
• Expertise in local, state, and national plumbing and gas safety codes (e.g., UPC, IPC, NFPA 54).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or vocational training in plumbing technology.
• Advanced certification in backflow prevention.
• Experience with trenchless technology and advanced leak detection.
• Familiarity with smart home plumbing systems.
