Job Description
As a Remote Online Game Tester at Zynga, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and enjoyment of our next-generation mobile and web games. You will be responsible for meticulously identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and inconsistencies across various game features, platforms, and devices. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate gamers with a keen eye for detail to contribute directly to the player experience from anywhere. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases thoroughly to identify software defects.
- Document and report bugs clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results using our bug tracking system.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Provide qualitative feedback on game design, usability, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate with development and production teams to understand game features and testing requirements.
- Monitor game performance and stability during various test cycles.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings virtually.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle discrepancies.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (mobile, web) and genres.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
