Job Description
As a UX/UI Designer at Intel, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our cutting-edge software products and platforms. You will work within a dynamic team to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional user interfaces. This role involves a deep understanding of user needs, strong design skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver exceptional user-centered designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, create user personas, journey maps, and flow diagrams to inform design decisions.
 - Design and develop wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites/applications function and look across various devices.
 - Translate user requirements and business objectives into engaging, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces.
 - Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility, implementation, and overall product quality.
 - Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and analytics data to continuously improve user experience.
 - Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across Intel's product ecosystem.
 - Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
 
Required Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
 - Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects, including demonstrable experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
 - Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
 - Excellent visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
 - Experience with responsive design principles and creating interfaces for various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
 - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate design decisions effectively.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
 - Experience with motion graphics or animation for user interfaces to enhance user delight.
 - Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints and possibilities.
 - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
 - Prior experience in the semiconductor, enterprise software, or a similarly complex technology industry.
