Job Description
GIG Logistics is seeking a diligent and reliable Errand Runner to support our operations in Epe. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various essential errands, ensuring the smooth flow of daily tasks and the timely delivery and collection of items. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pick-ups and deliveries of documents, packages, and other items as requested.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing office supplies.
- Handle cash or make payments on behalf of the company, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Run bank errands, including deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate logs of all errands, including items picked up, delivered, and expenses incurred.
- Ensure timely and safe transport of all items.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding errand status and any potential issues.
- Assist with general office upkeep and organization as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Errand Runner or similar role.
- Valid motorcycle license (essential for urban deliveries).
- Excellent knowledge of local routes and areas within Epe and surrounding regions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Physical stamina and ability to carry moderate loads.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
