Job Description

We are seeking a highly polished and experienced VIP Liaison / Hospitality Host to join our esteemed team in Oro Valley. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering unparalleled personalized service to our most distinguished guests, ensuring their stay is flawless, memorable, and exceeds every expectation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to guest relations, and an innate understanding of luxury service standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for VIPs, anticipating their needs and orchestrating seamless experiences from pre-arrival to departure. This role requires discretion, sophistication, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for all VIP guests, managing their requests and preferences with the highest level of efficiency and discretion.
  • Proactively anticipate and fulfill guest needs, ensuring all arrangements are meticulously handled, including reservations, transportation, special requests, and personalized amenities.
  • Warmly greet and escort VIP guests upon arrival, facilitating a smooth check-in process and ensuring a personalized welcome.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and events to provide expert recommendations and assistance.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge, F&B) to ensure seamless service delivery and communication regarding VIP guests.
  • Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints with grace and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest information and preferences.
  • Assist with special events, private functions, and exclusive experiences for VIP clientele.
  • Prepare personalized itineraries and welcome packets for arriving VIPs.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their stay.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment, specifically in guest relations, concierge, or VIP services.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a significant asset.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professional etiquette.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with high-profile individuals or celebrity clientele.
  • Knowledge of local culture, attractions, and amenities in the Oro Valley/Tucson area.
  • Advanced proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish.
