Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and certified Gym Instructor to join our dynamic team in Tucson, Arizona. As a Gym Instructor, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and guiding our members towards their fitness objectives. You will be responsible for providing expert fitness instruction, designing personalized workout plans, leading engaging group exercise classes, and maintaining a positive and safe gym atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive fitness assessments for new and existing members to determine their fitness levels and goals.
• Designing and implementing safe, effective, and personalized exercise programs tailored to individual member needs and objectives.
• Providing one-on-one personal training sessions and small group training as required.
• Leading a variety of group exercise classes, such as HIIT, circuit training, strength and conditioning, and core workouts.
• Educating members on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Monitoring and tracking member progress, providing encouragement and making necessary program adjustments.
• Ensuring the gym floor is clean, organized, and equipment is well-maintained and safe for use.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Building strong rapport with members, fostering a supportive and motivating community.
• Staying updated with the latest fitness trends, research, and certifications.

Required Skills

• Current certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, NCSF) as a Personal Trainer.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Proven experience as a Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and exercise science.
• Strong ability to demonstrate and teach a wide range of exercises.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer-focused attitude with a genuine passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Additional specialty certifications (e.g., Group Exercise Instructor, Yoga, Pilates, Nutrition Coach).
• Experience working with diverse populations and varying fitness levels.
• Proficiency in using fitness tracking software and equipment.
