Job Description
As a Production Coordinator at Nigerian Breweries Plc., based at our Victoria Island office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes across various sites within Lagos State. This role involves comprehensive coordination, scheduling, reporting, and administrative support to the production management team. You will be instrumental in bridging communication between the corporate office and our manufacturing plants, optimizing workflows, and ensuring adherence to production targets and quality standards. This is an on-site role, requiring your presence at our Victoria Island office.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production schedules and ensure alignment with supply chain and sales forecasts.
- Monitor production output and efficiency, identifying variances and reporting performance metrics to management.
- Facilitate communication and information flow between the Victoria Island office and production facilities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of raw material and packaging material procurement, ensuring timely availability.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and quality control documentation.
- Support the implementation of safety protocols and quality assurance procedures within production operations.
- Prepare detailed reports on production activities, including status updates, challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with various departments, including logistics, quality control, and engineering, to resolve operational issues.
- Participate in production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a production coordination or administrative role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Understanding of basic manufacturing principles and supply chain processes.
