Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team in Oniru, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and upkeep of our properties, performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong understanding of building systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for all occupants.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Execute repairs, including carpentry, painting, plastering, and general handyman tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and staff.
- Assist with the installation and relocation of equipment and furniture.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
- Support the general cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
