Job Description

Indeed is seeking a detail-oriented and vigilant Virtual Blog Comment Moderator to join our growing content team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for reviewing, moderating, and responding to user-generated comments on Indeed’s various blogs and content platforms. Your primary goal will be to ensure a positive, respectful, and engaging online community while upholding our content guidelines and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate blog comments for adherence to community guidelines and terms of service.
  • Approve or reject comments based on established criteria, including relevance, tone, and content.
  • Respond to select comments in a professional and engaging manner, fostering community interaction.
  • Identify and escalate inappropriate, spam, or malicious content to relevant teams.
  • Maintain a consistent and impartial approach to moderation across all platforms.
  • Provide feedback on evolving community trends and potential content guideline improvements.
  • Collaborate with content and social media teams to align moderation strategies with broader content goals.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills with impeccable grammar and spelling.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
