Job Description

ASOS is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our social media team as a Work From Home Instagram Engagement Assistant. This is a 100% remote position. You will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant and interactive community on our Instagram platform, helping to deepen connections with our audience, amplify brand voice, and drive engagement. Your day-to-day will involve monitoring comments, responding to DMs, actively engaging with followers’ content, and identifying trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor ASOS's Instagram feed, stories, and DMs for comments, questions, and mentions.
  • Craft engaging and on-brand responses to comments and direct messages from our community.
  • Proactively engage with user-generated content, influencers, and partner accounts on Instagram.
  • Identify and report trending topics, user feedback, and potential customer service issues to the social media manager.
  • Assist in content scheduling and caption creation as needed.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new engagement strategies.
  • Maintain a consistent and positive brand voice across all interactions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Instagram as a user and understanding of its features (stories, reels, DMs, comments).
  • Excellent written communication skills with impeccable grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to adapt to a specific brand voice and tone.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Basic understanding of social media etiquette and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in social media management, community management, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with fashion retail trends and ASOS's target audience.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • A portfolio demonstrating social media engagement or content creation.
