Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and creative Work From Home Instagram Engagement Assistant to join our vibrant social media team. This role is crucial for fostering a strong online community around the Canva brand, enhancing user interaction, and elevating our presence on Instagram. You will be responsible for actively engaging with our audience, responding to comments and messages, identifying trends, and ensuring our brand voice is consistent and engaging across all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions on Canva’s Instagram profiles in a timely and on-brand manner.
- Actively seek out and engage with user-generated content, reposting relevant content with proper attribution.
- Identify emerging trends, hashtags, and conversations relevant to design, creativity, and our community.
- Collaborate with the social media content team to align engagement strategies with content calendars and campaigns.
- Provide regular feedback and insights on community sentiment and engagement performance.
- Assist in the execution of Instagram-specific campaigns, contests, and interactive stories.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Instagram’s features, best practices, and algorithm changes to optimize engagement efforts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience managing and growing an active presence on Instagram, either personally or professionally.
- Excellent written communication skills with impeccable grammar and a keen eye for tone.
- Ability to quickly grasp and embody a brand's voice and aesthetic.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Canva’s design platform is a plus.
