Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Entry-Level Document Transcriber to join our team in Kilgoris, Narok County. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing various documents, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining confidentiality. This role is crucial for the efficient processing of vital financial and administrative information within the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe various documents, including financial records, reports, and administrative correspondence, into digital formats.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of all transcribed information in accordance with company policies and data protection regulations.
- Review and proofread transcribed documents for errors, inconsistencies, and adherence to formatting guidelines.
- Organize and maintain digital document archives efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet transcription deadlines and quality standards.
- Utilize transcription software and other relevant tools effectively to enhance productivity.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for accurate transcription and communication.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and email communication.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Good organizational skills to manage documents and work effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with transcription software or data entry is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic financial terminology will be an added advantage.
- A Certificate or Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
