Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and intuitive Virtual App Usability Tester to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in evaluating the user-friendliness, functionality, and overall experience of our cutting-edge mobile and web applications. You will identify bugs, propose improvements, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of user experience before they reach our vast global customer base. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute from anywhere in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough usability testing on pre-release versions of mobile and web applications.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, glitches, and usability issues using standard reporting tools.
  • Provide constructive and actionable feedback on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.
  • Follow test plans and execute test cases diligently, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to communicate findings and suggest solutions.
  • Participate in review meetings to discuss test results and product improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with current app design trends, mobile technologies, and user experience best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in testing mobile or web applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate bugs and usability issues.
