Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Twitter/X Community Assistant to join our dynamic social media team. This is a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and growing the online communities for our clients on Twitter/X, ensuring engaging interactions, monitoring trends, and maintaining a positive brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Twitter/X platform, excellent communication skills, and a passion for community building.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Twitter/X channels for mentions, comments, and direct messages, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Engage with the community by initiating conversations, liking/retweeting relevant content, and participating in trending discussions.
- Identify and escalate potential issues or negative sentiment to the social media manager.
- Assist in scheduling and publishing content on Twitter/X as directed.
- Track and report on key community engagement metrics.
- Stay informed about current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Support the development of community guidelines and FAQs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in managing social media communities, specifically on Twitter/X.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of social media etiquette and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
- Basic analytical skills to interpret engagement data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with social listening tools.
- Familiarity with various online communities and digital trends in Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific regions.
- Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
