Job Description

Are you passionate about data and eager to kick-start your career in a dynamic and innovative environment? Capgemini is looking for a motivated Data Analyst Trainee to join our team in Wiesbaden. This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring professional to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop crucial skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, helping our clients make informed business decisions. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work remotely for 3 days a week and collaborate from our modern Wiesbaden office for 2 days, fostering both flexibility and team integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, processing, and cleaning of large datasets from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data insights clearly and effectively.
• Support senior data analysts and project managers in various data-related tasks and initiatives.
• Contribute to the documentation of data processes, methodologies, and findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis solutions.
• Continuously learn and apply new data analysis techniques, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, advanced formulas).
• Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in data and technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Business Analytics.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• Understanding of statistical concepts and their application in business.
• German language skills (B2 level or higher) are a plus.
