Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Patient Support Representative to join our growing healthcare team. In this fully remote role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential support, answering inquiries, and guiding them through our digital health services. This position requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for individuals utilizing TELUS Health solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional remote customer service and technical support to patients via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist patients with navigating digital health platforms, scheduling appointments, and understanding their health information.
  • Troubleshoot common issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Educate patients on the features and benefits of TELUS Health services and products.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions and resolutions.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or patient support role, preferably in healthcare.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong empathy and active listening skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • High-speed internet access and a quiet, dedicated home office space.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field or customer service.
  • Experience with telemedicine platforms or digital health solutions.
