Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and empathetic Virtual Social Media Comment Moderator to join our global moderation team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Kapsabet, Nandi County, Kenya. You will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, specifically comments, across our various platforms to ensure compliance with our community standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong decision-making skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and respectful online environment. You will play a critical role in upholding content integrity and user experience on our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and moderate user comments on various Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to ensure adherence to community standards and policies.
  • Accurately identify and take appropriate action on content that violates guidelines, including hate speech, harassment, misinformation, and graphic content.
  • Provide clear and consistent rationale for moderation decisions.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and report emerging trends or complex moderation challenges.
  • Stay updated with changes in community standards and moderation guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
