Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute statistical analyses to solve complex business problems, utilizing a variety of methodologies.
- Develop and validate robust predictive models using various statistical techniques and machine learning approaches.
- Interpret and present statistical findings to clients and internal teams through clear, concise reports and compelling presentations, tailoring communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with data scientists, consultants, industry specialists, and project managers to integrate statistical insights into broader client solutions.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and quality of data used in all analyses, adhering to best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of new statistical methodologies, tools, and best practices within the firm.
- Provide expert guidance on experimental design, sampling strategies, and data collection methods to optimize research outcomes.
Required Skills
- Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Proven professional experience (minimum 3 years post-Master's/Ph.D.) with statistical software packages such as R, Python (with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn), SAS, or SPSS.
- Strong foundational understanding and practical application of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, experimental design, multivariate analysis, and time-series analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex statistical concepts and results clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, including data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong presentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a consulting environment or working directly with external clients to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised learning) and their practical applications.
- Experience with big data technologies such as SQL, Spark, Hadoop, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- A record of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at recognized statistical or data science conferences.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create insightful dashboards.
