Job Description

Are you passionate about helping people and eager to kickstart your career in customer service from the comfort of your home? MTN Nigeria is seeking dedicated and empathetic Inbound Customer Service Agents to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing friendly and efficient support for their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Provide accurate information regarding MTN products, services, and promotions.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and guide customers through solutions.
  • Document customer interactions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those for data privacy and security.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computers and navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center role (at least 6 months).
  • Familiarity with telecommunications products and services.
  • Fluency in additional local Nigerian languages (e.g., Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
