Job Description
We are seeking highly talented and versatile Musicians to join our dynamic entertainment teams across our holiday parks. This is a unique opportunity for passionate artists to showcase their skills, engage with audiences, and contribute to the lively atmosphere that makes Haven Holidays special. Key Responsibilities
- Perform live music sets, including solos, duets, and ensemble performances, tailored to various audiences and themes.
- Collaborate with other entertainers, vocalists, and technical staff to deliver engaging shows and events.
- Adapt musical styles and genres to suit different entertainment programmes, from family-friendly performances to evening shows.
- Participate in rehearsals, sound checks, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain musical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
- Engage positively with guests, contributing to a friendly and inclusive holiday environment.
- Adhere to performance schedules and company guidelines for health, safety, and conduct.
Required Skills
- Exceptional proficiency on at least one primary instrument (e.g., guitar, keyboard, drums, bass, saxophone, trumpet, violin).
- Strong sight-reading abilities and improvisation skills.
- Proven experience in live performance settings, preferably in hospitality, cruise lines, or entertainment venues.
- Ability to learn and perform a diverse repertoire across multiple genres (pop, rock, jazz, classical, folk, show tunes).
- Excellent stage presence and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other artists.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by performance schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to play multiple instruments (multi-instrumentalist).
- Vocal ability is a significant advantage.
- Formal music education or professional training.
- Experience working with backtracks and musical software.
- A positive attitude and a passion for entertaining people of all ages.
