Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our dedicated emergency medical services team in Dallas, Texas. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide advanced life support to patients at the scene and during transport.
  • Assess patient conditions, interpret diagnostic data, and administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, ensuring readiness for immediate use.
  • Accurately document patient care, observations, and interventions in electronic patient care reports.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Safely operate emergency vehicles under various conditions.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding emergency medical services.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to maintain certifications and enhance skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including ambulances and equipment.

Required Skills

  • Current Paramedic certification/license (NREMT-P or state equivalent).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time paramedic experience in an emergency setting.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying patients.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume urban EMS system.
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages relevant to the Dallas community.
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
  • Experience with electronic patient care reporting systems (e.g., ESO, ImageTrend).
