Job Description

Join the esteemed team at Hilton Worldwide in Hamburg as a key member of our Hotel & Hospitality Staff. This role is perfect for enthusiastic individuals passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a world-class hotel environment. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are fluent in English to support various hotel operations and ensure our guests feel welcomed and valued. While a basic understanding of German is a plus, it is not a requirement for this position, as our international clientele and diverse team are well-served by English-speaking staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures as needed.
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling and room orientation.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Support various departments including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and concierge as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of public areas and work stations.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, safety regulations, and service standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across all departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Execute special projects and tasks as assigned by management to enhance guest satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
  • Proven customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or customer service role (1-2 years preferred).
  • Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and learn hotel procedures.
  • A secondary language proficiency (any language) is a plus.
