Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef or Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our prestigious property in Fresno, California. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and F&B Director on budgeting and financial performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Inspire and mentor culinary team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a reputable establishment.
  • Exceptional culinary skills with diverse cooking techniques and international cuisine knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in menu development and cost control.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
