Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Solar Panel Installers to join our growing team in Chandler, Arizona. As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of solar energy systems on residential properties, ensuring top-tier quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install solar modules, inverters, and racking systems on various roof types and ground mounts.
- Perform electrical wiring of solar arrays and components, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal solar system placement and design.
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the installation process and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in solar installation, construction, or a related trade.
- Ability to work at heights on rooftops for extended periods, often in varying weather conditions.
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of basic electrical principles and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with different types of roofing materials and their installation requirements.
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) pertaining to solar installations.
- NABCEP PV Installer certification or equivalent.
- Experience with battery storage systems installation.
