Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, informing them of daily specials
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Monitor table activity to ensure guest satisfaction and respond to any additional requests
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any dining issues with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and server stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role (restaurant experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with POS systems
- Familiarity with Detroit-style cuisine and beverages
- Current food handler's permit
