Job Description
Join the esteemed culinary team at Jumeirah Group as a Kitchen Helper. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in the hospitality industry, even without prior experience. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who are ready to learn and contribute to a high-standard kitchen environment. We value a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and other kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure all work surfaces, floors, and storage areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Support in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, such as boiling or heating ingredients.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and according to established procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required by the kitchen management.
