Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dynamic healthcare teams across various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient data accurately.
- Help patients with transferring and positioning, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures, treatments, and examinations as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff promptly.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Document care provided in electronic health records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Required Skills
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 12 months' experience as a CNA or Healthcare Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Eligibility for UK Visa Sponsorship.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to meet UK healthcare standards.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., phlebotomy, EKG).
