Job Description
As a Remote Social Media Content Moderator, you will be on the front lines, reviewing user-generated content to ensure it complies with our community standards and policies. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment across Meta’s family of applications. You will be responsible for making timely and accurate decisions on content, addressing potential violations, and contributing to the overall health of our online communities. This is a fully remote position based in the UK, offering the flexibility to work from your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content on Meta platforms, including text, images, and videos, to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
- Make accurate and consistent decisions on content violations, escalating complex cases to senior moderators or specialized teams as needed.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and quality while working remotely, adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Stay updated on evolving content policies, product changes, and moderation tools.
- Provide feedback to improve policy guidelines, moderation tools, and training materials.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to share insights and best practices.
