Job Description
Aldar Properties is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Helpers. This is an immediate start, full-time position located on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, with visa sponsorship provided for eligible candidates. As a General Helper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our properties, supporting various operational teams, and ensuring a positive environment for residents and visitors alike. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties across various facilities, including offices, residential areas, common spaces, and outdoor areas.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with their tasks as directed, including carrying tools and materials.
- Support landscaping and gardening teams with tasks such as watering, weeding, and general upkeep of green spaces.
- Help with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure all work areas are kept tidy, safe, and organized at all times.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly, adhering to company and environmental guidelines.
- Report any damage, malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for assistance from management or other departments as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
