Job Description
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic UI/UX Design Intern to join our innovative design team in Seattle, WA. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to identify user needs and behaviors.
- Contribute to the creation of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and product improvements.
- Collaborate with senior designers to translate user research findings and business requirements into compelling design solutions.
- Participate in design critiques and present design concepts to cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of design systems and component libraries.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in UI/UX design.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field, graduating in 2025 or 2026.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Foundational understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in UI/UX design.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation for user interfaces.
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
- Experience with A/B testing or other data-driven design approaches.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
