Job Description
Join The Ivy Collection as a Restaurant Host / Greeter in our stunning Liverpool location! We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to be the first point of contact for our valued guests. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to start their career in hospitality, as no prior experience is required – we’re looking for genuine warmth, a welcoming smile, and a willingness to learn. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival to the restaurant.
- Manage the reservation system efficiently, seating guests promptly and accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist with reservation inquiries.
- Maintain a tidy and organised front desk and entrance area.
- Assist guests with coats, bags, and guide them to their tables.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team regarding table availability and guest flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant menu, specials, and facilities.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure a comfortable and pleasant waiting experience.
- Escort guests to the bar area if tables are not immediately available.
- Bid farewell to departing guests, inviting them to return.
