Job Description
Lufthansa is looking for dedicated and service-oriented individuals to join our Airport Customer Service team at Munich Airport. As an Airport Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our passengers, ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience from check-in to boarding. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced airport environment. Fluency in English is essential, and while German language skills are not required for this specific role, a willingness to assist a diverse international clientele is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet passengers warmly and provide assistance with check-in, baggage drop-off, and flight information.
- Verify travel documents, issue boarding passes, and manage seat assignments.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, passengers with reduced mobility, and VIPs.
- Handle passenger inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions related to flights, connections, and airport services.
- Guide passengers through security and boarding processes, ensuring on-time departure.
- Manage flight irregularities, rebooking, and re-accommodation processes in a calm and efficient manner.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service in all interactions, representing the Lufthansa brand positively.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer needs.
