Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and driven students for our Energy Internship program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy sector, working alongside experienced professionals on critical projects. Interns will contribute to initiatives focused on renewable energy, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and operational excellence. This program is designed to provide valuable insights into the utility industry and offer a foundational understanding of energy systems and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research and data analysis related to energy projects, market trends, or operational performance.
- Support project teams with data collection, report generation, and presentation preparation.
- Participate in meetings, contribute ideas, and collaborate with various departments.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize information on emerging energy technologies or regulatory changes.
- Help develop and implement solutions for energy efficiency or sustainable practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals and objectives.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental), Energy Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience or coursework related to the energy industry, renewable energy, or utility operations.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability and environmental stewardship.
