Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate or graduate students to join our cutting-edge research teams for a Summer Research Internship. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist research staff with experimental design and execution.
  • Perform laboratory techniques such as cell culture, PCR, Western blotting, and microscopy.
  • Collect, record, and analyze experimental data accurately and meticulously.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Review scientific literature and contribute to literature summaries.
  • Participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and scientific discussions.
  • Prepare summaries or presentations of research findings at the end of the internship.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in a life science, biomedical engineering, or related field.
  • Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Basic understanding of molecular biology, cell biology, or biochemistry principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior laboratory experience, either academic or professional.
  • Coursework in genetics, immunology, pharmacology, or bioinformatics.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS) or basic programming skills (e.g., Python).
