Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on environmental policies, sustainability practices, and conservation issues relevant to WWF-UK's campaigns.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and communication materials for various stakeholders.
• Support the planning and execution of conservation projects and public engagement events.
• Contribute to data collection, analysis, and maintenance for ongoing initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-departmental collaborations.
• Help monitor and evaluate the impact of conservation activities.
• Provide administrative support to the team as required.

Required Skills

• Strong interest in environmental conservation, sustainability, and wildlife protection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to conduct independent research and analyse information effectively.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an environmental science, conservation, sustainability, or related degree program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous volunteer or internship experience in a non-profit or environmental organisation.
• Familiarity with environmental policy and legislative processes in the UK.
• Basic understanding of data analysis tools or software.
• Experience with social media or content creation for advocacy.
