Job Description

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice in Manchester. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, achieve a recognised qualification, and launch your career in childcare, all while being supported by experienced professionals. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, supporting their learning and development every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and age-appropriate activities for children.
- Observe, assess, and record children's development and progress, contributing to their learning journeys.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Build positive and nurturing relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a strong community.
- Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including robust safeguarding practices and data protection.
- Actively participate in training sessions and complete all coursework required for your Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Support children with their personal care needs, including feeding, changing, and promoting independence.
- Contribute to team meetings and collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure high-quality childcare.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (even voluntary) working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Basic knowledge or understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- A clear desire to achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
