Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our vibrant team in Hamburg. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about fashion and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. As an English-speaking Retail Assistant, you will be crucial in creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our diverse clientele, ensuring the store is beautifully presented, and supporting all operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Process transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandise display and replenishment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and politely.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and tagging merchandise.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding sales, security, and health and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
- Provide product knowledge and styling advice to customers.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic retail setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise up to 15kg.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with current fashion trends and a passion for the industry.
- Experience with visual merchandising.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus, but not required.
