Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Management Intern to join our team at Under Armour’s global headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of sports business within a leading global brand. You will support various initiatives related to athlete partnerships, event management, marketing strategy, and brand activation, contributing to projects that impact our global presence and connection with athletes and consumers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and execution of sports marketing events and activations.
• Support athlete relations and partnership management, including data entry and communication tracking.
• Conduct market research on sports trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights.
• Help develop presentations and reports for internal stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
• Contribute to the administrative tasks of the sports management department as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to offer fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.

Required Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong passion for sports and the athletic industry, with an understanding of current trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of professional interaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience (academic or professional) in event coordination, marketing, or sports administration.
• Familiarity with CRM software or project management tools.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in sports-related organizations or clubs, showcasing initiative and teamwork.
