Job Description

As an Immigration Services Analyst at Deloitte in Winnipeg, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ global mobility needs by providing expert immigration guidance and processing support. You will work closely with senior consultants and clients, managing a portfolio of immigration cases, ensuring compliance with Canadian immigration laws and regulations, and contributing to the successful relocation of international talent. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review various Canadian immigration applications (e.g., work permits, permanent residency, visitor visas, study permits) for corporate clients.
  • Conduct thorough research on immigration legislation, policies, and procedures to provide accurate advice.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies (IRCC, ESDC), and other stakeholders regarding case status and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases.
  • Assist with the preparation of client-specific immigration policies and compliance strategies.
  • Support senior consultants and managers in developing client relationships and identifying new service opportunities.
  • Stay informed of changes in immigration laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge management and training initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Canadian immigration law or services, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Immigration Consultant Diploma or licensed as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).
  • Fluency in French or another additional language.
  • Experience with global mobility technology platforms.
  • Project management skills.
