Job Description
Join Amazon as a Warehouse Associate and be a vital part of our fulfillment team! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to help us process customer orders with speed and accuracy. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that products are received, sorted, packed, and shipped efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack shipments, verifying contents against packing lists.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack and label items for safe and efficient delivery.
- Operate dollies, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and quality control checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and quality goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Capable of understanding and following verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
